As the number of paediatric tracheostomies rises, so does the need for close observation by clinicians who have completed competency skills in tracheostomy management and care.
✨ This interactive one day course allows delegates to gain an awareness of the anatomy and physiology of the paediatric airway as well as tracheostomy management, from insertion to de-cannulation.
✨ It includes 3 skill station group activities followed by 5 simulation scenarios to enable assessment of knowledge and skills towards being ‘Tracheostomy Safe’.
✨ When delegates have subsequently completed their Tracheostomy Competencies they will then be deemed ‘Tracheostomy Competent’ and receive a certificate.
