Please send us your details if you could like to join our waiting list.\nEmail nuth.ncsa@nhs.net\nPaediatric Congenital Heart Disease Echocardiography\nThis interactive course aims to enhance understanding of congenital echocardiography at a basic level of experience and covers cardiac lesions found in both neonates and children. \nIt covers all primary applications of paediatric congenital cardiac echocardiography\, providing comprehensive learning through case-based lectures and practical hands-on sessions brought to life by our wonderful volunteer paediatric patients with pre-operative and post-operative cardiac lesions making the course relevant to those looking after older congenital patients. \nCourse highlights\n\nNumerous echo images of a large spectrum of congenital heart conditions will be shown by senior specialist cardiac physiologists\nLectures by experts in congenital echocardiography (consultants and senior registrars)\nScanning of paediatric patients\, including those with congenital heart diseases.\n\nAudience\nSuitable for anyone involved in care and management of CHD disease – neonates\, infants and children – including: \n\nconsultants and trainees (paediatrics\, neonatology\, paediatric cardiology\, ACHD\, cardiac surgery\, cardiac anaesthesia and intensive care)\,\npaediatricians with expertise in cardiology (PECS)\, and\ncardiac physiologists.\n\nDates and times\nDay One\nWednesday 29 January 2025\n9:00am to 5:00pm \nDay Two\nThursday 30 January 2025\n9:00am to 5:00pm \nAccreditation applied for\n\nBSE (British Society of Echocardiography) – 4 BSE points\nRCPCH (Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health) has approved this activity for CPD in accordance with the current RCPCH CPD Guidelines\n\nPayment\nPayments should where possible be made via the online booking system. \nIf you request an invoice at the point of booking\, invoice payment terms are strictly 30 days from the invoice date or 7 days before the start of the event\, or the date specified on the course booking page – whichever date is the earliest. \nCancellation and refunds policy\nShould you no longer be able to attend the event on the booked date\, please contact the Academy as we may be able to offer an alternative date subject to an admin charge. \nShould you still wish to cancel your booking\, you or your employer will be charged as per the fees outlined below. \n\n\n\nTimescale\nFee paying course\n\n\nOver 6 weeks\n£25 admin charge\n\n\n2 to 6 weeks\n50% of course fee\n\n\n0 to 2 weeks\n100% of course fee\n\n\n\nIf you do not attend on the day\, you will be charged the full cost of the event place. \nSee our Terms & Conditions and Cancellations & Refunds pages for more details. \nBooking\nTo book a place on this course go to Tickets at the bottom of the page. \nAt checkout you can make an online card payment or enter a coupon code to make alternative payment arrangements. \nAlternative payment arrangements include: \n\nrequesting an invoice (INVOICE)\,\nThe Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust staff internal funding (NUTH) – you will need to complete a Trust study leave form.\n\nPlease see the Making payments & Coupons sections of the Help and FAQs.
