Our courses and learning programmes are available both face to face in one of our state of the art education and training centres or online via a virtual learning environment.
Face to Face events
The Newcastle Hospitals have three hi tech education and training centres which provide bespoke, state-of-the art spaces for clinical and non-clinical courses.
The centres contain the latest technology and equipment to provide a range of ‘real life’ scenarios and situations within a high quality training environment.
Eldon Court (Newcastle city centre)
Accommodates 60 staff and has capacity for 200 students.
Training provided includes medical education, including final year exams, with access to a clinical suite containing exact replicas of hospital bays and wards, a nurses’ station and an outpatient clinical space with a waiting area and four consultation rooms.
Freeman Hospital
Accommodates 20 staff and has capacity for 300 students.
This education and training centre features state-of-the-art simulation facilities, including a replica ward and operating theatre.
Royal Victoria Infirmary
The RVI’s education and training centre can accommodate 200 students.
Home to a state of the art simulation centre and resuscitation training facilities, the RVI has a large lecture theatre and a number of break out rooms, some of which can be opened up for a larger learning environment.
Bespoke venue training
We also offer some courses and learning programmes in other venues.

Online training
If the training you are interested is delivered online, you will receive a livestream ticket upon booking with all the details you require to access the course in your confirmation email.
