The Great North Trauma Centre is a level 1 major trauma centre at Newcastle’s Royal Victoria Infirmary, one of twelve major trauma centres in the UK treating both adults and children.
This course covers the basic principles of casting techniques and skills specifically required for CPD surgical trainees development within the NHS.
It will explore the appropriate prescription relating to injury including the safe application of backslabs as well as full casts with manipulation techniques.
