This interactive one day course allows paediatric staff to gain an awareness of the anatomy and physiology of the paediatric airway, general care and management of patients who require a tracheostomy, from the insertion of a tracheostomy to discharge home and de-cannulation.

A four-day programme culminating in a quality assured Certificate of Achievement in Improving Clinical Practice in Congenital Heart Disease covering all aspects of a CHD patient’s life from fetal diagnosis onwards focusing on best practice and promoting the right care at the right time

During this one day course delegates will learn the theory and treatment of commonly seen hand injuries as well as basic casting and splinting techniques and skills.
