This two-day course introduces therapists to the One-Handed Therapy Intervention (OTI) Programme – a unique toolkit for families who have a child aged 2-4 years with hemiplegia.

Knowledge gained through this course will enhance learners’ understanding of cancer biology, the mechanism of action of systemic cancer treatments, and the use of biomarkers to select the best treatments for each patient and as a result empower staff to feel confident when communicating with patients and their families, and with clinical and non-clinical colleagues.

During this two day course delegates will learn principle casting techniques and skills and will explore appropriate prescriptions relating to a range of injuries including the safe application of backslabs and full casts with manipulation techniques

A unique Specialist Consultant taught interactive educational experience for the referring and reporting of Cone Beam CT. Validated by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons (Glasgow) in order to match the recommended hours for Level 2 reporting.

This course describes how bowel cancer comes about, and explains the reasons why some patients might be given treatments such as EGFR-targeted antibodies (cetuximab and panitumumab), angiogenesis inhibitors (bevacizumab and regorafenib), or immune checkpoint inhibitors (pembrolizumab) as part of their treatment.
